Fans have followed Dog the Bounty Hunter for years on his shows. They have also seen him face a lot in his life. Since then, fans have shared concern for the reality star after a recent appearance. However, things might be more complicated than it appears.
Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman Recently Appeared On The Legally Goff Podcast
Dog is the stage name of Duane Lee Chapman Sr. A bounty hunter and a former bail bondsman, he rose to international fame in 2003 after capturing Andrew Luster while on trial.
Chapman gained further fame through the A&E reality series, Dog the Bounty Hunter, which ran from 2004 to 2012. This was followed by Dog and Beth: On the Hunt and Dog’s Most Wanted.
Recently, Chapman made an appearance on The Legally Goff Podcast. Sitting down for an unfiltered interview about his life, he discussed murder convictions, fugitives, and even reflected on the hunt for Luster.
In addition, Chapman also discussed what it was like working on his reality shows. He also weighed in on his family and faith, with the impact these things have had on his life.
Many Fans Shared Words Of Support In The Comments
However, Chapman’s appearance on the show has sparked some concern from dedicated fans on social media. Many were concerned about what appeared to be bags under his eyes and a slipping hairpiece.
As noted by The U.S. Sun, fnas might be taking things out of context. As the outlet noted, he has worn blonde hair weaves for decades. Ultimately, it was also noted that Chapman “also looks very different to fans when he removes his sunglasses.”
In addition, the outlet highlighted that Chapman has faced a lot over the years, including in his personal life. This included the loss of his fifth wife, Beth, after a battle with cancer in June 2019.
Taking to the comments, many expressed concern for Chapman. That said, many who commented on his appearance emphasized that they were fans speaking out of concern. Many also shared words of support after what he’s faced in his life. Some comments included:
- “He said he’s had extensive dental work on his entire mouth.”
- “Take care of yourself Dog. Get healthy-you are SO worth it.”
- “Dog is Great! He has loved the sun for too long. He needs a surgeon to hook him up to get the eyes done and a good laser. Not saying he needs charity. He needs a surgeon that will reach out to help him.”
- “Love you Dog, used to watch faithfully when Beth was at your side, she was such a beautiful person, hope you and your family are doing well. Glad to see you’re still out there kickin’ butt!”
- “Reminds me of one of the characters in The Wizard of Oz I bet you can guess: Courage.”
